PR Specialist

Your mission

We’re looking for a PR Specialist who knows how to turn updates into headlines.

At LaFinteca, we’re building more than just a fintech brand — we’re creating a voice that stands out in the LATAM market and beyond. As our PR Specialist, you’ll play a key role in shaping how the world sees us: drafting impactful press releases, supporting strategic partnerships, and boosting visibility for both the company and its key people.

What you’ll do:

Craft and publish press releases on a regular basis (several per month) that share our latest wins, product updates, and big moments.
Help us dominate search results by aligning PR efforts with key SEO strategies and target keywords.
Manage workflows between copywriters, designers, and external partners to ensure our content hits the mark.
Support PR efforts for exciting collaborations and partner campaigns.
Hunt down media opportunities across Latin America that help us reach new audiences and grow our client base.
Contribute to our broader PR strategy — from building brand awareness to boosting our leadership’s personal brand.
Supporting related projects, including drafting at least 5 press releases for other products and initiatives

Your profile

2+ years of experience in PR, communications, or media (experience in fintech or Latin America is a big plus).
Strong writing and editing skills, especially when it comes to turning news into compelling stories.
A solid understanding of SEO and how it shapes visibility online.
Comfortable collaborating across creative teams — you speak “designer” and “copywriter” fluently.
Experience in building or supporting personal brands through content, media, or strategic positioning.
Proficiency in English is a must. Bonus points if you speak Spanish or Portuguese.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to keep multiple projects moving at once in a fast-paced environment.
